What is boston terrier? What does boston terrier look like?

What is boston terrier?

Boston Terrier, English name: Boston Terrier. General weight: 5~11kg, the weight is divided according to the following categories: under 15 pounds; 15 pounds to 20 pounds; more than 20 pounds, but not more than 25 pounds. The length of the legs is proportional to the length of the body, giving the Boston Terrier a distinctly square appearance.

What does boston terrier look like?

The Boston Terrier is an intelligent, lively, courageous small dog breed. One of the few breeds to be bred in the UK, it makes an excellent guard or companion dog. Smart, playful and affectionate dog breed. The traditional kind of aggressiveness no longer exists. Since the ancestors were raised by the Hobarts of Boston, they were also called the Hobart Inquisitors.
The fur, short and fine, is smooth and shiny, with little jacket-like markings being preferred. The thighs are well muscled, the forelegs straight and the hindquarters strong. Feet: Firm, with markedly raised toes. The tail is short and straight, somewhat slanted. The base of the tail is low and usually drooping. In the 19th century, Boston-centered bullfighting produced the Boston terrier breed. The original Boston Terrier was a breed of bulldog and bull terrier. Later, through the selection of inbreeding and the breeding of French bulldogs, many improvements were made. In 1891, when the American Bull Terrier Club in Boston made an application for breed recognition, it was not approved because of the harsh name of the Bull Terrier, until it was finally recognized by the Boston Club of America in 1983. This dog has since become one of the most popular dog breeds in the United States.
boston terrier living habits

The Boston Terrier is very similar to the French Bulldog. The dog’s biggest appearance is the coat color or black tone with white markings, the square head cover and the flat top of the head are the main features. The dog is a short-haired dog with a stable personality. From its rich facial expressions, it can be seen that its intelligence is very high and its memory is very good.
Well-behaved, imaginative and considerate, the Boston Terrier has endured North American popularity as a brisk, playful, energetic and enduring companion dog. Although they are called terriers, they have lost their aggressiveness and prefer the company of humans.
The Boston Terrier is a typical pet, an excellent play dog and companion dog, and can also be used as a care dog in a housekeeping home. Because the dog is playful and lively, it especially likes to walk with people, especially children. Therefore, it is very popular in the United States as a companion dog.
The Boston Terrier is a friendly and active dog. This breed has a good temperament and a very high IQ, thus, making the Boston Terrier an unparalleled companion dog. Boston terriers are intelligent, warm-hearted, affectionate and playful. They get along well with other pets, dogs, and children. An excellent family companion dog.
boston terrier rearing

In the daily feed, the medium and small ones need 200-250 grams of meat, and the large ones need 300-350 grams of meat. However, Boston terriers do not have a large size, and the size and weight of male and female dogs are not much different. .
Meat food should be boiled for 15-20 minutes first, then chopped, mixed with cooked dry ingredients and a proper amount of warm water before feeding.
How much feed should be provided every day can be properly controlled according to the size of the dog, which is just right. If it is too little, it will lose its lively and lovely posture and image due to insufficient nutrition; if it is too much, it will gain weight due to excess nutrition, thus losing its charming charm.
The food supply should be timed, quantitative, and fixed, and should be eaten within 15-25 minutes. When it is out of date, the food and the food bowl should be taken away. It should not be allowed to delay the time and develop the bad habit of eating irregularly.
In the morning or evening every day, take it out for a walk and stroll, but do not let it run fast and exercise vigorously, otherwise, shortness of breath will occur. Carry a bottle of purified water with you when you go out.
Eggs can be boiled two or three times a week for Boston terriers to eat. It is recommended not to give the egg whites to dogs, and the egg yolks should not be swallowed in one bite. It is best to feed them three to four times.
