The movements are very smooth, quick, stretched, relaxed, and the expressions are alert. Eyes amber, matching coat color, oval, slightly deep set, sharp and intelligent. The ears are set at medium height and, when alert, are erect but very flexible, broad at the base and large and delicate. The skull is long, sloping, and well-defined. The length of the front face is slightly longer than that of the skull, the outline of the skull is parallel to the mouth, and the head is bluntly wedge-shaped. The head is held high and the stride is fairly large, without any sign of exertion. Nose flesh coloured, matching coat colour, no other colour. The neck is relatively long, sloping, muscular and slightly arched, raising the head high. The throat line is neat. The topline is almost straight. Slightly sloping from rump to base of tail. The tail is moderately raised. The tail is moderately set, fairly thick at the base, thin at the tip, like a whip, drooping at rest and extending to the hocks.

When in motion, the tail is raised and bent. The tail cannot be tucked between the legs. The joints are well developed and firm, turning neither in nor out. The front legs are straight and parallel to each other. Pasterns are strong. The feet are neither cat nor rabbit, but strong; the pads are thick. The hindquarters are strong and muscular. The hind limbs are parallel to each other. The knee joint is moderately swept back, and the second thigh is clear. The paws are the same as the forelimbs. The gait is stretched and fluid; the legs and feet move in a straight line in the same direction as the body is traveling. The coat is short and glossy, ranging from fine and close to the body to slightly rough, without feathering. Color ranges from bright brown to chestnut, with white markings generally found on the tip of the tail (ideal), on the chest (called “starspots”), on the white feet, and on the middle of the face. Other white markings are considered undesirable. A pure white patch on the back of the neck, shoulders, back, or parts of the body is considered a defect.

1. Drink a lot of water to prevent heat stroke. Usually, water should be supplied throughout the day, and the water should be changed every day to keep the water clean. After exercising in high temperatures, dogs need a lot of water to cool off and quench their thirst. At this time, the owner must feed cold water, not ice water, so as not to stimulate the stomach. The best time to take them out is in the morning or evening, and try to let them play in the shade. Water is an essential nutrient for dogs. When water is deficient by 20%, dogs are in danger of life.
Cases of dogs dying from heat stroke occur frequently at home and abroad. When you find that your dog is panting with wide open mouth, foaming around the mouth, losing balance when walking, confusion, and weak body, it is likely to be heat stroke. At this time, its body temperature should be lowered as soon as possible. You can shower the dog’s body with cold water, or put it in a cold bath to cool down.
2. Do not leave pets alone in the car. In summer, the temperature in the car is very high, and it is difficult for the heat to escape, even if the car window is opened with a small slit, which can easily lead to heat stroke in pets. When you come back and find that your baby is unconscious, it may be irreversible.
3. Pet air-conditioning disease, pets stay in the air-conditioned environment for a long time, they will also suffer from air-conditioning disease. The main symptoms of air-conditioning disease are sneezing and runny nose, dull spirit, anorexia, or even not eating or drinking. It looks similar to the symptoms of a cold, but it is actually much more serious than a cold. In severe cases, the body temperature rises, and the breathing and heart rate increase. cause sudden death. Therefore, owners should not let pets sleep under the air conditioner vents, and it is better to let them stay in an environment with natural wind. Also, don’t blow the air conditioner directly after bathing your pet.
4. Correct summer makeup. In summer, you should clean up your pet’s sole hair and abdominal hair in time to help dissipate heat; trim the ear hair of dogs with long ears to avoid the breeding of mites. It is best to bathe and groom your dog weekly to prevent skin diseases. Do not expose your dog to the sun after bathing, but dry it first. When clipping, do not trim too short, as proper hair can block UV rays. Also pay attention to the different trimming methods for different dog breeds, so that each dog has a standard summer makeup that suits him. Don’t think that dogs don’t care about their image, beautiful makeup will make them appetite! If dogs don’t like their new look, they’ll be sullen, embarrassed to meet people, and even depressed.
5. Prevent heartworm disease and prevent mosquito and flea bites.
