What is mosquitofish?

Mosquito fish is a fish in the genus Fetididae and Mosquito fish. The body is elongated, slightly flattened on the side, with a shallow arc on the back, and the abdomen is rounded. The head is short and broad, and the snout is short. big eyes. Mouth small, upper, small jaw teeth. Body is rounded scales, no lateral line. The dorsal fin is located behind the midpoint of the body. The suitable water temperature range is 4.5~40℃, and the optimum water temperature is 18~30℃. In summer, they are afraid of heat, and they descend and disperse after sunrise; in winter, they like the sun and when the weather is sunny and warm, they often swim to shallow water and spend the winter in a ditch with a water depth of 1 meter.
