1. In the early stage of Alaskan malamute infection, its symptoms are very similar to those of a cold. At this time, you can measure the dog‘s body temperature every 6 hours (note that it starts in the morning), and observe whether the fever will be slightly better at noon in the morning and evening. Parents here, please note that the rise in body temperature in the morning and evening is a very obvious feature of canine distemper. If the observed result is that the dog’s body temperature and height improve at noon in the morning and evening, then you must pay attention, it is very likely to be canine distemper.

2. The paw pads and nose of Alaskan malamutes infected with canine distemper will be dry and cracked. Note that when dogs have a cold and fever, they will also have similar symptoms. Therefore, when the Alaskan Malamute has this disease, as a parent, you must not ignore the carelessness.

3. The secretions from the nose and eyes of the Alaskan Malamute will increase abnormally. Note that this is not the same as the tears and snot that the dog usually has (cold). Alaskan malamutes infected with canine distemper will have a lot of secretions around the eyes, and even the eyes will be glued. The treatment method for Alaskan malamutes infected with canine distemper (currently, there is no effective treatment method and drug for canine distemper in the medical field, so the general treatment is just “doing human affairs to the fate”) for the treatment of canine distemper for Alaskan malamutes, The most commonly used method is “symptomatic treatment”. For example, if the dog has a fever, it needs to be treated to reduce the fever, and when the body temperature is high, it needs to be helped to cool down.
