bala shark living habits

Silver sharks are strong and easy to keep fish. When the fish is small, it can be raised with other small fish, and the adult fish should be raised alone or mixed with fish of the same size.
This fish prefers slightly acidic to neutral soft water, but it is not suitable for keeping in aquariums with aquatic plants because it will destroy aquatic plants.
Silver Shark is not demanding on water quality, the optimum water temperature is 22-26 ℃, and it can also adapt to lower or higher temperatures.
Silver sharks swim fast, are more lively, and like to toss and jump, so the aquarium should be covered. The fish tank should be larger than 120cm as much as possible.

Bala shark feeding

Silver sharks generally have a lifespan of more than six years, but artificial breeding of silver sharks is quite difficult, and there has been no successful case of breeding in aquariums.
The black-finned baglip fish lives in freshwater streams or lakes. It is omnivorous and has a mild temperament. It feeds on phytoplankton and small crustaceans. It is an important farmed fish, edible, and also an ornamental fish with high economic value. It is active and can jump out of an uncovered fish tank.
